The first day of the year begins with the Sun working in combination with Saturn at 11°. This yields a powerful message that 2019 is a year of getting serious and taking responsibly for our life experience! There is no doubt that 2019 will bring a reality check to us all on some level.

This is a marks a year of working hard and doing the things that are harder but are worth doing! Be serious about your life and what you’re creating! We need to assert some sort consistent effort at this time.

On that same day the moon is in Scorpio, making a connection to Venus in Scorpio around 3 pm PST. There will be a focus on intense and intimate interactions. There are likely to be transformational emotional occurrences. You may want to control outcomes more under this influence, but its best to be aware that this day will invite some sort of emotional changes and to be ready! Introspection could uncover some buried treasure. Meaningful, deep interactions are more likely to occur now. We feel excited, optimistic under this influence. There is great momentum building on this day, an opportunity to grow and expand as we learn new things and aim higher. As the Moon joins Mercury in conjunction later in the day, the heart and mind come together in union. There’s an opportunity here to take a leap and align with a more expanded version of ourselves. This is preparing us for the Sun-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn coming up a few days following which will bring some intense energy with it!

This new moon is in Sagittarius at 15° and marks a new beginning for us to explore ourselves in more expansive ways. There’s a need here to make adjustments to our philosophy of life. Individually, we are allowing a blooming of sorts! A new version of us is emerging and this new moon is to help us truly feel it and deeply connect to this newly emerging self. A new moon cycle begins a new momentum for the next 28 days.

What is the vision that propels you to make changes now? With the new moon in a tight square to Mars & Neptune in Pisces we need to use our energy and intentions to set fire to the flame of our soul purpose! We have all incarnated here for a reason during this time of great change! Now more than ever are we called to take these intuitive feelings seriously! We did not come here to go along with what society tells us is right, no! We came to CREATE OUR REALITIES!

First things first, this new moon is lifting us higher, to broader ways of seeing things, a faith that can propel us into the years to come! Mercury and Venus are back in Scorpio and both out of retrograde. A last dip into the underworld mentally and socially/materially. Jupiter is in its home sign of Sagittarius!

This fortunate transit only happens every 12 years and will be offering us all a sense of greater wonder, a need to travel, explore and expand into broader horizons during the entire year of 2019!

A heightened sense of restlessness pushes us to go beyond and aim higher! Jupiter in general expands whatever it touches, bringing it to life! Jupiter governs over the sign Sagittarius, known to be the constant seekers of the zodiac, always open to new experiences and varying ideologies. Sagittarius Season and What To Expect!

We are now in Sagittarius Season! Today the Sun is at 0° of Sagittarius, coming closer to colliding with Jupiter within the next few days! With the opposing Moon in 0° of Gemini, making today a very special day.

Full Moons are climaxing experiences, where the energy is more likely to feel explosive and heightened. Oppositions offer us contrast, which helps define what we like or don’t like, need or don’t need. It provides us with information, even though it’s through seeing the good and the bad, it helps us define what we’d like to see more of. Full Moon’s often illuminate issues so we may have an opportunity to fully see what’s going on. This is ultimately to force us to be fully conscious and aware. We see through connecting with others things we may have going on underneath the surface within ourselves.

In Astrology the Sun governs over conscious awareness, it’s is the source of life! Where the Moon is our more subjective unconscious or emotional body. When the light of the Sun illuminates the Moon, it can act like a cosmic spotlight and this is why full moons can have such a powerful effect on us.

The first major shift will be Neptune going direct in Pisces at 13° on November 24th, 2018!

Neptune went into retrograde motion at 16° on June 18th, 2018 and over the course of the past few months we’ve really faced a lot of issues from the past that has been stopping us from moving forward. It’s possible that we’ve realized ways we may have been escaping ourselves and not dealing with our emotions. It’s now time to move forward deeper into our soul purpose. This is our chance to let go and feel our way through it with all our heart.

New Moon in Sagittarius

I foresee this to be the New Moon that will set us off for the journey of the next 12 years! This is a very Jupiterian time, where things are fun, optimistic and opportunities abound! If we continue to focus on growth this time of great surrender will continue to guide you onward and upward! There aren’t too many aspects going on in the universe on this day but the few that do occur are very key in understanding the energy dynamic of is New Moon. I will provide further in-depth information on that in a future post!

It appears to me that Uranus is the powerhouse planet on this NM, So expect this New Moon to force us out of our comfort zones! Uranus is truly unpredictable and offers quick and sudden shifts in perspective. Let’s just say this New Moon will be strongly influenced by the need to look at this a new way, and to consider unconventional, untried options!

This NM is going to be about really settling into the expanded version of ourselves internally. FULL MOON IN GEMINI 11/22-11/23/18 ~ MAJOR ADVANCEMENT!

Astrologically, this Full Moon is going to be illuminating the polarity of 0° Gemini and Sagittarius. This polarity has to do with the opposite dynamic of conscious thought vs beliefs and philosophy, our minds ability to reason vs our ability to think big, abstract thoughts and really find meaning in our experience.

The Sun and Jupiter are together in the sky during this peak time, it may feel all very positive and optimistic! Jupiter is exaggerating our need to be seen, heard and acknowledged for our beliefs and philosophies. I say be warned about saying too much, drinking too much or just taking things over the top this holiday! When Jupiter and the Sun come together there are many ways this will manifest, but one thing for sure, it will be the type of energy you’ll want to try to understand.

First let’s look here at the Moon in Gemini offering us a lighthearted, communicative, mentally reflective Full Moon. The Moon in Gemini asks me to look for its ruler, Mercury, being that it is opposing the Moon retrograde in Sagittarius, I can tell this holiday will be one where things are likely to bring up to be talked about, so we can benefit from the varying ideologies that surround us at this time. Best advice: listen much more than you speak. And when you do speak, make sure it holds meaning to you. This retrograde is about looking back at our own philosophies and reevaluating them. ‘Do my thoughts align me with the life I am aspiring to live as my full-blown life experience?’ With the Moon in Gemini, our thoughts hold great emotional power. Rethink your perspective, maybe it could use some fine-tuning. I know that’s the advice I will be taking myself. After all, these retrograde are for the purpose of pausing, looking back and reflecting. When Mercury goes retrograde our minds are called to go quite and to undergo some shifts for the purpose of getting into greater alignment. So make sure to have a mind-full of awareness this Full Moon!!
Next, the moon is square to Mars!!! Another game changer, and I can’t say it will be all too positive for most! We may feel surfacing anger and hidden remorse, likely buried from the past. This is something I caution us about being conscious of. Make sure what your feeling isn’t an unconscious reaction based on old memories where the emotions are still active within you. This is where meditation, reflection and taking time alone can benefit you. Learn from the emotions that arise now and be mentally prepared for unconscious material to surface. You can not control those around you but you can act as an example of what is possible. Mars in Pisces has us very instinctually driven by intuition, or unconscious unhealed emotions. Bring your attention to your inner space.

The Sun is in Sagittarius and it is conjunct Jupiter!!! This Full Moon is the universe giving us a taste of what is possible for this entire year with Jupiter transiting along through Sag! This day will manifest in many people overindulging in food, alcohol and another possible ways to escape. With Jupiter also square Mars in Pisces, I can promise you-you will feel this. The energy can be very positive and optimistic but I feel an underlying sadness here. Jupiter may be very happy and jovial on the surface but it’s very possible to be overruled by your emotions during this time. Escaping won’t do anything but bring temporary relief and then pain later on. Have fun, and enjoy yourself, of course! Just please keep in mind that every second we are alive is an opportunity to expand, reach and obtain higher levels of consciousness. Pluto is the planet that must be worked with and understood in order to deal effectively with the opposition and maximize the incredible potential of this Full Moon.

This t-square is in all cardinal signs! Making this tension about utilizing this energy constructively. The cardinal signs work toward something and today with the tension caused by this aspect, we feel this internal drive toward achievement.

Uranus oppose Venus, I’ve talked about this before as this transit has been occurring for a good while now! This brings a need to restore balance to the polarity between relationships versus individual growth. Oppositions reflect being pulled in two different directions, this long-standing transit that will last until mid-December, do you feel a tug to of relationships vs self? This opposition is meant to bring these issues to a point where they must be dealt with, so finding the appropriate balance between your needs as an individual making themselves in the world and nurturing relationships with others is a topic of the universe currently.

Venus square Pluto, prepare for intense experiences that will change you completely! The way we relate, any manipulative or unconscious motives are much easier to pinpoint now with the light that this Full Moon offers. Are we using our power for the greater good? Any way in which we’ve been relating to others from a less than pure place becomes clear now. We are able to move forward with clarity when we face these potentially intense emotions head-on. This Full Moon offers us a clean slate. also, we may feel that the way they’ve been dealing with money will change due to a tension that has been building.

Uranus square Pluto, what needs to be eliminated in order for you to be your true unique self? 11/18/18 Energetic Update ~ Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius

Somehow it keeps evading me that the Sun is still in Scorpio! Maybe because I’ve been so engulfed in it, so very subjected in the experience. I do have Scorpio sitting on the very bottom of my chart, ruling the roots, home, influence of upbringing, security needs, how I feel deep inside… pretty deep, right? A lot has surfaced and emerged from within me, hidden resources, desire to go after what I need. Scorpio is traditionally ruled by Mars, and more recently Pluto. Two very powerful, forceful, focused energies, no wonder Scorpio can be so… intense!! I’ve been using this time to get in touch with my soul, be in tune with my own power. Its been a process of letting go and shedding old beliefs, being vulnerable and practicing being flexible with how I do things. Also being completely obsessed with getting my website up and running so I can begin to offer more to the world. Deep within I do desire power, but power within myself, power to know I am the connection I seek. To be a holder of space, a container for higher consciousness.

Relishing in our soul’s, our peace and our own energy will benefit us all tremendously at this time. Pisces has a solitary nature, and Mars is really affecting our energy levels in Pisces. Pisces rules sleep, dream states, solitude, so all of these things may sound more appealing now until the end of this year. Pisces and Mars together require a need to readjust how we do things. We may be much more sensitive to vibes and intuition will be at an all-time high for the rest of 2018. We can strengthen ours by listening the feelings we get about things and trusting them. It can be easy to escape reality now, or to really want to. Be mindful of addictive tendencies. This energy will be dominating the next four days and as Mars transits Neptune, bringing a climax to this energy in mid-December. Dreams are extra vivid now, and could reveal subconscious material. Channel your energy into your vision, dance, create, get your energy flowing, sing, make music.

We are entering into real dreamy, ethereal dimensions with Neptune, Chiron, Mars and the Moon currently in Pisces. We are taking our lives to new heights with Jupiter in Sagittarius, just be careful! Jupiter in Sag is making a clear square to Mars currently, meaning some sort of action does need to be taken. Mars in Pisces transit November 17th ~ December 31st, 2018

Here’s a piece of advice I found to be very fitting for this Mar Pisces transit,

“Start talking to the Universe more and people less”.

Especially because Mercury, ruling the mind, and all facets of communication, has just entered full retrograde motion in the sign Sagittarius!

Mercury stationed retrograde yesterday November 17th and will be in Rx motion until Christmas Eve where it will exist its shadow period. This is a call for introspection and mental reflection. Mercury in Sagittarius has us reflecting on our long-held beliefs and giving us an opportunity to go back and revisit how we are using our faith to propel us forward. Do we have faith in abundance or faith in lack? You can see based on the experience that surrounds you and nows your chance to change it all.

There is Neptune, Saturn, Venus and Jupiter ALL in their home signs. People, this does not happen… This is a destiny-defining time, I guarantee we will look back and see 2018-2023 being the years it all changed. We are working with powerful energies now. Neptune in Pisces is really calling us toward our soul mission. Jupiter is giving us the knowledge and faith to keep us pushing through. Venus in Libra is reminding us of who and what is truly important to us and revitalizing our values.
